Abstract
Monitoring researches of jackdaw (Corvus monedula) size evolution are made by
the authors of the article. The article presents the study of spatial distribution of birds within the
out of nest period, as well as the ways to make the species sinanthropic. Observations were
made in towns and cities of Meschorsk lowland. The authors analyzed literary sources containing
the data on jackdaw population density in the towns of the Russian Federation. It was
ascertained that jackdaws prefer the most urbanized territories. The data received can be used
as a basis for biological monitoring of synanthropic bird species in the urbanized landscapes.

Abstract
The examination of 34healthy piglets fed with plant nutrition showed the decrease
of the amount of lipid peroxidation products in their blood against the increase of their plasma
antioxidant potential activity. There was found the increase of anti-aggregatory activity subscript
range of the vascular wall with all the tested inductors and their combinations against the
background of low levels of healthy piglets endotheliazitemia. In the gradual increase of PGI2
synthesis and NO action in the blood vessels the aggregation inductors invariably do not infl uence
the platelet receptors. That depends on the adequacy of regulation of fi brinogen receptors
expressiveness by the vascular wall. It is stated that the A2 phospholipase activity regulating the
withdrawal of the arachidonic acid from phospholipids is rather low in that process.

Abstract
The article considers the problem of a citys ecosystem. The author describes
the world and Russian experience in designing, constructing and exploitation of ecological
buildings and settlements. Moreover, the ways of energy saving in buildings in the process
of installing the systems of lighting, heating and ventilation were shown. The conception of a
passive house (in other words: an energy-effi cient house) with green roofs and green walls
is considered. The author notes the necessity of designing, constructing and exploitation
of such buildings and settlements which would never threat to damage the environment
and the inhabitants health, especially in conditions of the modern society transition to the
sustainable development. The article shows the perspectives of the ecological construction
in Russia.

Abstract
The present paper deals with some problems connected with the creation of the
new Bible versions in different historical periods. Their appearance may be stimulated by a
number of factors (the necessity of the correction of the errors, found in existing translations,
the wish to make the text of the translation corresponding to the modern language norms,
new discoveries and interpretations in Bible studies, etc.). The last decade is also characterized
by the striving to adapt the source text to contemporary reality and make it more politically
adequate, what may sometimes lead to rather disputable results.

Abstract
The article reviews the prerequisites for the formation of ancient synthetically
predicative statements, centered on the verbal-nominal substrate. The analysis is based
on the three provisions of psycholinguistics: the activities of the channels of information
processing, the ancient grammatical structuring and especially the perception of hieroglyphic
text. The author draws a comparison of the results of psycholinguistic research
with the particular historical development of the Indo-European and Semitic languages
that support the primacy of synthetically predicative structure of ancient statements.

Abstract
The article grounds the application of cognitive approach to translation, expands
the terminology of contemporary translation studies. The process of creating literal images
can be seen as a cognitive phenomenon closely connected with such phenomena as transmitting
and processing information. Linguistic presentation of literal image refl ects cultural
conventions and the image itself refl ects nature. It is the national and cultural component of
the given phenomenon which is the most diffi cult for translation. Scientifi c research of literal
images as a sum of mental and linguistic structures helps to reveal its national component
as well as to avoid certain diffi culties in the process of translation.

Abstract
The present article is the continuation of the authors previous work. It examines
the evolution of the views expressed by the theorists of modernization of the late 1960s -
early 1990s. It is noted that within the period mentioned the researchers abandoned the
treatment of modernization as a single-line and universal process. The scientists of the late
1960s -early 1970s dispelled the myth that there was a single way to modernity for the
whole West. The central research topic of the 1980s was the question of the ratio of western
values (modernity) to the national ones in the culture of the country being modernized. This
ratio was considered as a factor determining the model of the future of a certain country. The
collapse of the Soviet Union and the collapse of the Socialist bloc of countries led to a new
round of scientifi c debates of the way to modernity which revived the concepts of the late
1950s - early 1960s.

This article is the second in the series of papers devoted to the analysis of the political
symbolism of the «color revolutions». Using the frame analysis the author reveals the
general and particular character of the political opposition used in the «color revolutions» in
Yugoslavia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Lebanon. The technologies of political symbols
development and testing have also been studied, the failed «color revolutions» in Belarus,
Armenia, Moldova taken as an example, as well as the so-called «twitter-revolutions» in
Tunisia and Egypt. Studying the «color revolutions» the author not only found similar political
symbols, but proposed a hypothesis that they all were developed by the same political
consultants.

Abstract
The paper describes linguistic means of expressing the position of the speaker,
which is explicated in the grammatical and semantic structure of bi-substantive sentences.
The position of the speaker in this type of sentences is an obligatory component of meaning,
so its implicit representation is grammatically and semantically important. The article
describes the input components to the value of authorship identifi cation, assessment, characteristics,
and analyzed declensional prepositional-case forms designating the authorship
of an assessment and characterize the values associatied with the position of the speaker.
The absence of a bi-substantive structure offers components to the value of the subject of
identifi cation, evaluation, characterization indicates that it is the speaker who is the author of
the expressed evaluation and characterization, etc

The article deals with the public and poetic reception of the French invasion of
Russia in 1812. The author states that the heroic events of 1812 stimulated the interest to
Pan-Slavist ideas in the Russian society. The moral power the Russian defenders showed in
the fi ght with Napoleon and the might, connected with the orthodox acceptance of the world,
embodied in Lermontovs poem Borodino, found their expression in the works which did
not have direct indications to the French invasion of Russia in 1812. The object of studying

Abstract
The given article touches upon one of the most productive model of word-formation
in a proto-Slavic language - the derivatives with the formal element -(d)lo in the
diachronic-comparative aspect. Basing on the data from different historic and modern dictionaries
the author studies the semantics, the level of invariance, the derivational activity of
the lexemes with -(d)lo in such languages as Proto-Slavic, Old Russian, Modern Russian,
Czech, and Slovak. The undertaken study enables to draw some conclusions on the reasons
of the loss of the productivity of the given derivational model in the Russian language and
its high level of activity in the Czech and Slovak languages. This can be explained not only
with different modes of display of their puristic tendencies, but also with their specifi c national
cognitive dominants.

The article is about the phenomenon of infantile egocentric speech, as a natural
stage of a «speech personality» formation. On the basis of a large amount of examples the
author drew conclusions on the psycholinguistic regularities of infantile egocentric speech
and the specifi c character of a childs world perception and verbal refl ection of impressions
of the surrounding world. The phenomenon of infantile egocentric speech is considered as a
tool to understand the inner world of a child and at the same time as the evidence of the early
period of the language development, where a word and a thing, denoted by the word, are inseparable.
The author concludes that the infantile egocentric speech research is signifi cant
both for teachers, psychologists and linguists, language historians, mythologists.

The culture created by a person in the XX century put at stake the existence of
mankind, bringing into the forefront such schools of thought as philosophy of life, existential
philosophy and literature, which made the problem of the authentic I of a person the most
topical one. The research of this problem involves such humanities as history, sociology
and psychology. The author would like to trace the change of the dynamics of researches in
psychology, beginning with the study of an abstract person and to the comprehension of the
problem of a person in modern society. Besides, the author is interested in the exact aspects
of a mentally healthy and integral personality, and in the methods of treatment of neurosis
existing in modern psychotherapy. Though the study does not claim to be exhaustive, still
the research brings out the key developments in the fi eld of studying the identity, being used
