THE SYSTEM-FORMING FACTOR AS A CRITERION OF ASSESSMENT OF HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM EFFECTIVENESS

Abstract
The article considers the issues related to specifi c functions of the educational
system at a University. The author dwells on the justifi cation and approbation of the criteria
and indicators system for the assessment of the effi ciency of functioning and development
of the educational system. A group of criteria has been selected; the complex assessment
of the system structure, as well as of the system-defi ning and system-forming factors, is
presented. The author evaluates the above mentioned factors as priority ones, determining
the level of effi ciency of the educational system of a University.
