https://doi.org/10.18384/2224-0209-2016-1-1083

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the analysis of notions of diplomacy and foreign policy and the features of the connected with them communication and its verbal realization, which includes: occurrence of evaluative words, morphological neologisms, switching verbal codes in diplomatic discourse and international relations in conditions of information wars. Acceptability and correctness of using low-flown words, neologisms with nonce words status, and rhetorical questions in speech of official representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is demonstrated by the example of speeches delivered by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
