Abstract

The article presents the results of the developed processes of pelletizing complex
fertilizers taking into account the physical, chemical and rheological properties of their
original components. The pelletized powders and blends differ in content by elastic, brittle
and hygroscopic components, as well as the presence of various special agents. The most
effective are the products which have granular form. The article gives recommendations on
the choice of design parameters and equipment in particular pelletizing process by pressing
and molding taking into account the nature of the material and its structural and deformation
properties, in general. It is established that the change in the angle of the blades granulator
from 50 to 100 allows of regulating the quality of additional grinding and mixing of the
components of the charge with a maximum output of marketable fraction.
