STATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR COOPERATIVE STRATEGIES IN PROVIDING SOCIAL SERVICES: FOREIGN EXPERIENCE

https://doi.org/10.18384/2224-0209-2011-4-428

Abstract

The article is focused on foreign experience of cooperation between the State and
public sectors in providing social services. Despite the fact that the cooperation between the
Government and non-governmental organizations in this sphere is constantly evolving and
improving, however, their relationship is quite paradoxical: on the one hand, the authorities
clearly recognize the importance of the activities of non-governmental organizations for the
society; on the other hand, they cannot avoid confrontation with them.
