ASSESSMENT OF THE UKRAINE CRISIS BY EUROSCEPTIC PARTIES OF THE EU

Abstract
Abstract This paper discusses the assessment of the Ukraine crisis, which began in 2013-2014, by five right-wing Eurosceptic parties of the EU, notably the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Alternative for Germany (AfD), the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV), and the French National Front (FN). All the aforementioned parties blame the crisis mostly on the EU leadership who were eager to expand eastwards without proper consideration of such predicaments as public opinion in Ukraine and the EU as well as the interests of Russia.
