METAPHORICAL WAY TO EXPRESS THE CONTENT IN THE TEXT: TRANSLATION DIFFICULTIES AND THEIR SOLUTION (BASED ON THE GERMAN AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES)

Abstract
The article deals with special translation techniques, which allow to overcome the difficulties of translating texts by expressing the content metaphorically. On the basis of a comparative analysis of the original and translated texts, the authors give a typology of these methods. Motivation and effectiveness of the use of the methods considered is logically justified. As a result of the comparative study, statistical data on the frequency of application of the methods are given, the process of translation from German into Russian being analyzed.
