Abstract
The article describes the main approaches to the study of the psychology of terrorism. The publication is devoted to the analysis of foreign and domestic scientific studies of terrorism as a behavioral phenomenon with some motivational aspects. Attention is paid to the point of view that terrorism is closely connected with certain mental disorders. The authors give a brief review of basic psychological models of terrorism formation.
