В предлагаемой статье рассматриваются проблемы перевода концептуальных метафор. Когнитивная и языковая формы кодирования информации рассматриваются в свете последних исследований и предстают как разные формы представления знаний, которые, однако, органически взаимосвязаны. Предпринята попытка описать взаимосвязь языковых, лингвокультурных и когнитивных компонентов и влияния этого феномена на перевод концептуальных метафор. Делается вывод о том, что метафора является важным механизмом, посредством которого осуществляется понимание абстрактных концептов, что позволяет рассматривать метафору не как языковое, а как концептуальное явление.
The article raises some issues of concept metaphors translation. Cognitive and linguistic forms of information coding are analyzed in the light of recent research and are different forms of knowledge presentation. Which, nevertheless, are inherently interrelated. The author attempts to describe the interconnection of linguistic, linguo-cultural and cognitive components as a phenomenon and therefore to emphasize its influence on the concept metaphors translation. The author concludes that metaphor is an important mechanism through which abstract concepts are comprehended. That makes metaphor not only a linguistic but concept phenomenon.
