В данной статье рассматривается роль немецкой культуры в гуманитарном сотрудничестве между Германией и странами СААРК (англ. SAARC) на примере Бангладеш и Пакистана в начале 2000-х гг. Различные немецкие государственные организации, такие, как Гете-институты, ДААД (Германская служба академических обменов), а также немецкие фонды и неправительственные организации влияют в значительной степени на развитие культурного сотрудничества между Германией и Бангладеш, между Германией и Пакистаном. С одной стороны, Германия стремится упрочить свои позиции в Южной Азии, с другой стороны -оказать как финансовую, так и гуманитарную поддержку этому региону.

The article examines the role of German culture in humanitarian cooperation between Germany and SAARC (on the example of Bangladesh and Pakistan) at the beginning of the 2000s. Various German state organizations, such as: Goethe-Institutes, DAAD (the German Academic Exchange Service), as well as German foundations and nongovernmental organizations, have a significant influence on the development of cultural cooperation between Germany and Bangladesh, and Germany and Pakistan. On the one hand, Germany intends to strengthen its position in South Asia, on the other hand, it also tries to exert both financial and humanitarian support in this region.
