Статья посвящена развитию немецкого языка в средневерхненемецкий период. В ней рассматриваются важнейшие изменения, которые происходили в лексике и грамматике немецкого языка в эпоху Средневековья. В статье показаны пути развития и обогащения словарного состава немецкого языка путём заимствований из других языков, а также представлены важнейшие изменения в фонемном составе немецкого языка. Синтаксический строй предложений в средневерхненемецкий период развит ещё слабо, однако в статье показан, на примере литературных произведений, постепенный переход к современному немецкому языку.
The article is devoted to the development of the German language in the Middle High German period. It discusses the major changes which occurred in the vocabulary and grammar of the German language in the middle ages. The article shows the way of development and enrichment of the vocabulary of the German language by borrowing from other languages, as well as presents the most important changes in the phonemic structure of the German language. Syntactic structure of sentences in the Middle High German period developed more poorly, but the article shows a gradual transition to the modern German language using literary works as an example.
