Цель. Изучение и анализ диссертационной активности в сфере языкознания в СССР и России конца XX – первой четверти XXI вв. Выявление основных тенденций лингвистических исследований, приоритетов и перспектив.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. Основной метод исследования – корпусный, библиометрический и квантитативный анализ, позволяющий на основе материалов сайта «dissercat.com» и корпуса тем диссертационных исследований ряда университетов страны получить обобщённые аналитические сведения о научно-исследовательском потенциале современных лингвистических исследований.

Результаты

Результаты. На основе проведённого сравнительного анализа показаны тенденции в выборе тем исследований, обозначены проблема снижения теоретической значимости кандидатских диссертаций и перспективы развития теоретической и прикладной лингвистики.

Теоретическая и практическая значимость. Основные результаты анализа исследований в области языкознания за последнее время значимы для осмысления и решения связанных с этим проблем в сфере гуманитаристики в целом.

Aim

Aim. To study and analyze dissertation activity in linguistics in the USSR and Russia from the late of 20th century to the first quarter of 21st century. To identify main trends in linguistic research, priorities, and prospects.

Methodology

Methodology. The main research methods include corpus-based, bibliometric, and quantitative analysis. These methods were applied to data from dissercat.com and a corpus of dissertation topics from several universities across the country, providing generalized analytical insights into the research potential of contemporary linguistic studies.

Results

Results. The comparative analysis revealed trends in topic selection, highlighted the issue of declining theoretical significance of Cand. Sci. theses and outlined prospects for the development of theoretical and applied linguistics.

Research implications

Research implications. The key findings of the analysis of recent research in linguistics are significant for understanding and addressing related challenges in the broader outline of the humanities.
