<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
<title>Aim</title><p>Aim. The main results of the study provide an addition to the concept of lexical borrowing; special attention is paid to the concept of unjustified borrowing, one of the most significant consequences of which is linguistic inflation and the erosion of linguistic identity – the gradual displacement of traditional linguistic forms, which leads to a change in the cultural code of the nation.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>заимствования</kwd><kwd>языковая идентичность</kwd><kwd>глобализация</kwd><kwd>лингвоэкология</kwd><kwd>языковая инфляция</kwd><kwd>семантические изменения</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>borrowings</kwd><kwd>linguistic identity</kwd><kwd>globalization</kwd><kwd>language ecology</kwd><kwd>linguistic inflation</kwd><kwd>semantic changes</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Беляков М.
