Цель. Провести анализ социально-психологических предикторов возникновения ревности в романтических отношениях.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. Исследование проводилось с применением регрессионного и корреляционного анализа на выборке 300 взрослых людей в возрасте от 21 до 50 лет, состоящих в романтических отношениях (семейные пары и пары, состоящие в романтических отношениях).

Результаты

Результаты. В проявления высокой степени ревности в романтических отношениях наибольший вклад вносят такие характеристики личности, как склонность к негативным аффективным реакциям и избеганию обсуждения проблем в паре, неудовлетворённость межличностными отношениями и высокая степень напряжённости и конфликтности, тревожный тип привязанности и страх потерять партнёра, дисфункциональный тип эмоциональной коммуникации в родительской семье.

Теоретическая и практическая значимость. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы в построении тактики консультирования супружеских и романтических пар, где ревность становится разрушительным фактором для развития отношений, приводит к недоверию, деструктивным конфликтам и разрыву этих отношений.

Methodology

Methodology. The study was conducted using regression and correlation analysis on a sample of 300 adults aged 21 to 50 in romantic relationships (married couples and couples in romantic relationships).

Results

Results. The greatest contribution to the manifestation of a high degree of jealousy in romantic relationships is made by such personality characteristics as a tendency to negative affective reactions and avoidance of discussing problems in a couple; dissatisfaction with interpersonal relationships and a high degree of tension and conflict; anxious attachment type and fear of losing the partner; dysfunctional type of emotional communication in the family of origin.

Research implications

Research implications. The obtained results can be used in developing tactics for counseling married and romantic couples where jealousy becomes a destructive factor in the development of relationships leading to mistrust, destructive conflicts and the breakdown of these relationships.
