<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The paper presents a linguocultural analysis of wartime brochures describing cultural peculiarities of a different nation in comparison with the native one. The specific character of the genre is determined by the aim of the brochures to systematize stereotypes in order to destroy them. The article presents important linguocultural phenomena of that period in intracultural and crosscultural aspects. The author analyses culturally-loaded lexemes verbalizing axiological priorities of linguocultures and relevant to the aims set by the authors of the brochures.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>лингвокультура</kwd><kwd>британский</kwd><kwd>американский</kwd><kwd>культурно-нагруженный</kwd><kwd>вариант языка</kwd><kwd>стереотип</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>linguoculture</kwd><kwd>British</kwd><kwd>American</kwd><kwd>culturally-loaded</kwd><kwd>language variant</kwd><kwd>stereotype</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Городецкая Л.А.
