В статье рассматривается роль заглавия в полноценном понимании сути картины и лексико-семантические трудности при его переводе. Исходя из лингвокультурного подхода к исследованию заглавий телесериалов, автор выделяет классификацию заглавий на основе жанровых особенностей телесериалов. Подходя к заглавиям как к лексическим единицам с национальнокультурным элементом, выделяются три способа перевода заглавий: полный перевод, трансформационный перевод и полная замена названия. Помимо этого к каждому способу автор приводит ряд примеров с их анализом и в ряде случаев свои варианты перевода.
The article analyses the role of TV series' titles in full understanding of the movie. Considering linguistic and cultural approach to the study of TV series titles the author presents the classification of titles based on TV series genre peculiarities. The author considers the titles to be lexical units with national and cultural elements. Thus three methods of translation are pointed out: full translation; translation with applying lexical transformations; and total replacement. Moreover, each option is accompanied by a number of examples with the analysis and, in some cases the author's variant of translation is given.
